Classes

I have never done an exercise class before can I just turn up and join in?
All of our exercise classes cater for all levels from beginner to advanced so come along and give them a go.

Do I have to pay extra for classes?
Our exercise classes are free to Sports Hall and Fitness members and only £5 to others.

Do I need to book?
No, you just need to turn up at the appropriate time and you are ready to go (with the exception of Pilates, Yoga & Tai Chi that need to be booked in advance).

How do I book myself onto a Yoga, Pilates or Tai Chi course?
Courses cater for beginners to the more advanced. All courses need to be booked in advance so please contact the Club for details.

Membership

Do I have to be a member to use the Club?
No, visitors are welcome to use all of our facilities, with the exception of the swimming pool that is exclusively for members.

Am I entitled to a family membership even if I don’t have any children?
Yes, a Family membership is available to couples residing at the same address.

If I get injured can I freeze my membership?
Yes, we allow members to freeze their membership for a maximum of 3 months.

Is there a discount available for people with a connection to the School?
KCS parents and pupils both past and present qualify for a 10% discount on all membership fees.

Facilities

How far in advance can I book courts?
Members can book courts up to 8 days in advance and non members 2 days.

Will the School be using the facility when I get there?
After 6pm weekdays the facilities are exclusively for Club use.

Are there changing and showering facilities?
Yes, The King’s Club has 4 changing rooms all fitted with showers.

If I turn up at the Club will there be someone to show me around?
Yes, there is always a member of staff available to give you a tour and answer any question you might have.

Treatments

How do i book an appointment?
All appointments need to be booked directly with the therapist. Links to their respective websites can be found on the treatments page.

Do treatments only take place during Club opening hours?
No, treatments are available during the day at certain times. Please contact the therapist directly for further details.
