Group Exercise

Sweat & Stretch (Hannah) Monday 7-8pm
A class to make you burn calories, tone up and improve flexibility. Finishing off with complete relaxation, this is everything you want in a workout.

Body Works (Dannie) Tuesday 7-8pm
An all over body workout for those hard to reach areas. Combining high and low impact moves.

Ski Circuits (Sam) Wednesday 8-9pm
A high intensity cross training circuit designed to get you fit for the slopes.

Tone & Tighten (Gemma) Thursday 7-8pm
An all over strengthening workout using various equipment to increase muscle tone and burn stubborn fat. Little or no co-ordination required.

Swiss Ball Stability (Gemma) Thursday 8-8.45pm
A fantastic class using the swiss ball to stregthen your core muscles. This class promotes excellent posture and is suitable for all ages and abilities. Places limited to the first 10 people who arrive.

Cardio Craze (Dannie) Sunday 11am-12pm
High intensity cardio workout choreographed with the latest aerobic moves.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have never done an exercise class before can I just turn up and join in?
All of our exercise classes cater for all levels from beginner to advanced so come along and give them a go.

Do I have to pay extra for classes?
Our exercise classes are free to Sports Hall and Fitness members and only £5 to others.

Do I need to book?
No, you just need to turn up at the appropriate time and you are ready to go (with the exception of Pilates, Yoga & Tai Chi that need to be booked in advance).

How do I book myself onto a Yoga, Pilates or Tai Chi course?
Courses cater for beginners to the more advanced. All courses need to be booked in advance so please contact the Club for details.

Yoga and Pilates

Here at the King’s Club we run four Pilates and two Yoga sessions throughout the week. These sessions are run as courses and therefore need to be booked in advance. All of the courses are also available to non members.

Yoga enables us to find inner peace, emotional strength, physical stability, stamina and confidence. Create a permanent state of balance, strengthen your immune system and enjoy the feeling of renewed energy and enthusiasm.

Pilates exercise provides internal strength, tones muscles, improves flexibility, balance and posture. Pilates combines the body with the mind enabling us to become more productive both mentally and physically.

Tai Chi

Whatever you age or level of fitness Tai Chi is the ultimate form of exercise to keep you strong and healthy in body and mind.
